Prince William has been Kate Middleton‘s biggest supporter during her health journey this year, but as she resumes her official duties, she is also depending on another royal.
More on Kate Middleton
It’s been quite the year for Kate Middleton. The Princess of Wales, who is married to Prince William, revealed her cancer diagnosis earlier this year. After undergoing surgery, Kate eventually required chemotherapy. She declared around the end of the summer that she was officially cancer-free after months of being out of the public eye.
Sophie, Duchess of Edinburgh, is by Kate Middleton’s side.
All of the royals seem to get along well with Kate. According to reports, Kate and the royal women have forged close bonds, and King Charles views her as a daughter. Prince Harry frequently complimented William’s wife even when he was still a member of the family.
However, Kate required some assistance this year as she took some time off to concentrate on her health. Her bond with Sophie, Duchess of Edinburgh, the wife of Prince Edward, is only becoming more significant now that she is back.
Kate Middleton was originally scheduled to stand next to Camilla Parker Bowles for the annual Remembrance Sunday Service, but Camilla had to decline owing to sickness. Kate recently attended the service with other royals. Sophie ended up standing next Kate.
Kate Middleton “will be doing more next year,” according to Prince William.
Even since returning to the royal family, Kate has largely taken her time. She did attend two royal events in two days in mid-November, which is the most she has done all year. Kate’s friends and family have been very understanding of her need for time to recover.
Kate was recently mentioned by William while he was in South Africa.
