In a fiery interview with right-wing network Fox News on Wednesday night, Kamala Harris blasted Donald Trump for his constant threats against “the enemy within,” saying her presidency “would not be a continuation of Joe Biden’s presidency.”
The 25-minute interview was the first time Kamala Harris participated in a discussion with Fox News, a regular Trump booster, and came after a Harris event in Pennsylvania with over 100 Republican officials.
In order to appeal to the station’s older, predominately Republican audience, Bret Baier, the chief political anchor for Fox News, had a long list of right-leaning topics, such as immigration, transgender rights, and Joe Biden’s performance. However, Baier is regarded as a no-nonsense news counterbalance to the hate of Fox News’ evening shows.
Kamala Harris’s comment on recent interview
When asked if she would have done anything “differently” from Joe Biden, Harris responded that she had “nothing that comes to mind” when Baier played a tape of the vice president from a previous interview. Republicans are now focusing on that response in an effort to connect Harris to the unpopular Biden administration.
According to Kamala Harris, a number of high-ranking former Trump administration officials now think “that he is unsuitable for service, that he is unstable, that he is dangerous, and that people are weary by someone posing as a leader who has his own “spends money.” It’s time to indulge in personal complaints and humiliate others.
As both camps attempt to win over voters before November 5th, polls indicate that Harris and Trump are virtually deadlocked in the majority of swing states. Over the course of the previous week, Harris had a number of interviews before appearing on Fox News.
