Before traveling to Samoa, the King and Queen Camilla wrap up their royal tour of Australia.
The 76-year-old Queen made an elegant and kind appearance on Tuesday when she went to Refettorio OzHarvest, a joint social impact project of Food for Soul, an Italian-founded organization, and OzHarvest, Australia’s top food rescue organization.
Ever the queen, Camilla looked stunning in a royal blue silk dress by Fiona Clare, accessorized with neutral-toned heels and a lovely Van Cleef & Arpels dragonfly brooch.
As she welcomed well-wishers, smiled for the cameras, and engaged in meaningful conversations with the organization’s volunteers, her blonde hair was well styled.
Her Majesty celebrated OzHarvest’s 20th anniversary by visiting Refettorio OzHarvest Sydney, making her visit a momentous occasion. Camilla’s dedication to fighting food insecurity and assisting community-focused projects is still very much alive as the Patron of UKHarvest.
Ronni Kahn felt great to welcome the Queen Camilla on OzHarvest’s 20th anniversary
Ronni Kahn, the creator of OzHarvest, was delighted to welcome the Queen and show her around the community center, describing how the organization’s goals are in line with social inclusion and environmental sustainability.
Keeping her composure, the Queen Camilla appeared thrilled as she entered the restaurant kitchen, engaged the chefs, and offered to assist with the day’s lunch preparation.
At Sydney’s Refettorio OzHarvest, which repurposes food that would otherwise be thrown away to make restaurant-caliber dishes for those in need, the Queen adorned her lunch with edible flowers and herbs.
Locals can be recommended to the café, visit with the help of charitable organizations, or make a reservation to enjoy a complimentary three-course dinner. Donations and an $80 lunch on Thursday night help cover the cost of the remaining meals throughout the week. “One man!” the Queen Camilla exclaimed as she met the lone person who jokingly claimed to be the “best barista” when meeting staff and volunteers.
As she exited her royal vehicle, Queen Camilla waved to the audience with her trademark smile. The Queen looks both regal and at ease, demonstrating her mastery of elegant yet approachable attire.
